Caerphilly riding school boasts many wonderful and useful facilities. These include an indoor riding arena which is fantastic for the dark, cold, wet winter nights. The indoor school measures 45m x 25m and offers and excellent surface which benefits the horses as it enables them to work better and easier which there fore results in a happy and stress free horse. As the surface (a sand and rubber mix) is light and springy it reduces the stress on the horse’s limbs especially when jumping.

Within the school there is an excellent viewing area for spectators to watch the lessons. This is useful as they are able to listen to the instructions given by the instructors and see how well they progress. It also has plenty of seating for larger groups and is a good spacious area. Within the gallery there is a vending machine with a range of chocolate, crisps and drinks. The indoor school also houses several jump for joy jumps which are easy and safe to use as they are lightweight and easy to move or knockdown.

Caerphilly riding school is a British horse society approved school and activity centre offering a range of equestrian activities for all ages and abilities. The riding centre is located at Ty canol farm on the outskirts of Caerphilly town centre and only a 20 minute drive from Cardiff, the capital city of Wales.

The purpose built British horse society approved indoor arena offers group lessons for all abilities and tuition in a variety of disciplines. Ride in open countryside enjoying breath taking, panoramic views from the coast to the Brecon Beacon Mountains. Well manner sure footed mounts are carefully chosen to give all riders a safe and enjoyable ride. We cater for parties and groups for riding from and hour up to all day; we even include a stop at a local pub for refreshments.

Caerphilly riding school has 12 stables and a secure tack room which is ideally square shaped for ease of use and access. The stables also have a 2 foot overhang which is ideal for pony days as it will keep you dry. The shape of the yard also helps to monitor the safety of all clients at all times.

Caerphilly riding school also boasts fantastic trekking facilities with excellent views of the countryside. You also have a clear view of Caerphilly castle, and on a clear day you can see from the coast line right across to the Brecon beacons. With having direct access to the mountain from the school makes it a lot safer as you don’t have to contend with any roads or traffic, just open countryside.
